Visa For Short Trip To France

Hi All,

Just a quick question, my wife is here in the uk with me on a 2 year settlement visa.

We want to take a short trip to france over the christmas hoildays will she need another visa for this?

Yes, your missus will need a visa, although if you play your cards right, she should get it for free. It might take a few weeks to apply and get the visa, so I'd get cracking now.

i also would like to take my wife to france ,you say that might get visa for free ,i have looked at the link you say and the site say visa about £22 to £26

am i reading it wrong??????

I think you're looking at the wrong page. From VISA APPLICATION FEE

The visa application is free of charge to Spouses and Children of European Union citizens, to Spouses of French Citizens and to the holders of diplomatic, service and official passports on presentation of the appropriate evidences
