Non Imm O Visa Fee: How Much?

Featured Replies

Hello,

Can anyone tell me what the current fee is for a non imm O (marriage) visa?

I plan to get one in Laos.

Thanks

Single entry should be about 2,000 baht or 5,000 if multi entry but not sure of what currency they use there or exact amount.

5,000 Baht as of 4 months ago. Multi entry, 1 year.

Thanks guys!!

I will opt for a multiple entry, of course.

Intend to pay with Thai baht in Laos.

Thanks again :)

Where in Laos? Only Savannaket has been reported as providing multi entry without financial requirements (not sure what Vientiane would require or even if they would issue). Be sure to have marriage certificate/copy and copy of wife ID card and home registers signed by her.

@lopburi3

I do plan to go to Savannakhet, with all the documents you mentioned, copies and originals.

I'm even taking my wife!!! :)

Well, based on the assumption that Thais don't have to buy a visa for Laos, as I read that somewhere here recently,

although that was a post from 2007.

I will even take a copy of my wp (company keeps original), and employment contract, but won't show unless

specifically asked.

I had my wife also call immigration in Phibun, and they said copies are not even needed, just originals, including her Thai ID.

I plan to take as many docs with me as possible....better too many than too little!

Then the first priority is getting there on time, preferably before 10.30 am even.

Will start driving at 7 am, from Ubon to Mukdahan.

Took me 2.5 hours last time I went there, years ago.

Will post my (hopefully positive) experience here after.

Cheers!

Hello,

Regarding visa application for non imm O (marriage/family), I found application forms

TM22 and TM87 on here.

But also found one at mfa.go.th: http://www.mfa.go.th/internet/news/29189.pdf

I would assume correctly that the latter will do just fine?

Thanks

Various Consulates have specific forms for use. They may or may not accept the MFA version. Immigration forms are not for Consulate visa issue.

@Lopburi3

I will take this form just in case.

If they dont accept, I'll just fill in the one they give me.

Thanks!

Good idea as likely to be almost the same and makes it easy to fill in if you already have all the information in one place.
