Can I cancel a return flight booked directly with airasia.com? I have tried several times (in "Manage my bookings") but I always get the following error reading:

[1004:AgentAuthentication] The password you entered is incorrect for the user/agent ID. Make sure caps are not locked on your computer keyboard and try again.

As I am already logged on I don't understand why I get this error reading. I can "book a flight" but I cannot manage a booking or check a booking I've made.

I've emailed airasia.com twice (once on 13th January and again yesterday, 18th January) but no answer to date. Can anybody here tell me what I'm doing wrong? Surely I should be able to cancel or change a flight online, right?

I thought about that option also, but I just hate phoning companies... it takes forever to get through and more times than not, the service agents are useless...

You can cancel flights but unfortunately you'll not get a refund. You are able to claim back the airport tax but they do charge a fee for this.

once your booking is confirmed, it cannot be cancelled and the payment you made is not refundable except for the airport tax paid. but you can claim full refund on medical ground with supporting letter from your doctor. Any refund if approved (less chargeable fees) will be placed in a

credit account for your future travel which must be utilized within three (3) months from the date of issue.

The Air asia service agents are very good once you get through.

In my experience, AA are very good about responding to tweets. Is that an option?
