Hi,

Im planning to travel to Kuala Lumpur on the 6th Febuary to try to get a Double Entry Thai Visa, Does anybody have any advice on how easy it is to obtain one? i am still currently on my 1st multi entry visa which runs out on the 12th Feb. Does anybody think i will have any trouble getting one if i have only just finished a multi entry tourist visa? Also i would like to do this in the quickest time possible, so how long would i need to be in Kuala Lumpur for to get this?

Any advice would be appreciated

Submit application in the morning, collect next day after 2pm.

Go early on both occasions as there are always many people waiting.

As of 6 weeks ago, KL will issue single entry only, but there was no limit + no problems with a 30 day immigration extensions.

There used to be a handy "pinned" thread that had the latest local consulate visa 'friendliness' reports but it seems to have gone with the TV upgrade.

What sort of work are you doing Jay?

By all reports a single entry only.

@Nanlaew just doing little bits and bobs at the minute, my fiancé is a teacher at a international school so I'm just trying to make a little. Thanks for your replys everybody. I need to stay till at least may then we are due to fly home as my fiancé is pregnant to have the little one in the uk. So if they are only issueing single visas can I get more than one? Thanks again

OK, thanks for that pointer as it's now a sub-directory of a single pinned thread. It was more 'visible' under the old TV format where each category was separately pinned. Maybe 'unpin' this one from it's group and make it a standalone pinned item so that newbies (and old farts) don't miss it?

Idea was to make it easier for us old farts to scroll to the forum topics without needing to go through all the pinned items on each page load unless we were interested in one of them.

Single = 60 days + 30 day extension at Immigration......

Early December there was no limit on TR Visa's at KL

Thread a few days ago said Penang was easy as they need the money for a building extension ? Lots of post about Agents in Penang maybe phone or drop them an email see if a Double is now offered there
