Dear Experts,

I am working here with VISA non immigrant type 'B' (work permit) and my wife is having dependent visa category 'O', we have nationality- Indian.

Now my wife gets a training opportunity in an organization here in Bangkok, to attend this training (stipned will be paid monthly) she needs to get her visa changed from type 'O' to type 'ED' (Education/Training program).

Could you please let us know, how can we achieve it without travelling from Thailand to India?

Are you sure she needs to change? As far as I know, one can study on any type of permission to stay or extension of stay. But I see that she will not just study but will get paid, ie will be working, so that may make a difference. I think it will be best for your wife to ask at the local immigration office if they will give her a new extension of stay for the reason of education/training program and ask them what documents they need for it.
