Is 3000 Thb too much to change or repair this car part that start the engine ? Hi, In Thai they call it จานจ่าย (DJANJAI) and it's a part in a the car that start the Engine. Now the car ddoesn't work and garage said that the problem is this part and it will cost around 3000 Thb, so I wonder if it's a good price and how I could find it cheaper ? slapout Posted January 21, 2012 Share Posted January 21, 2012 Have not priced a distributor in many years but cannot believe they retail for that much/3000 baht. Unless the housing is broken, the rotor itself is normally the problem. Go to a auto parts/supply and check the price. It only takes a few minutes to change the parts or the whole assembly.
