Non Imm. O Visa Help

Featured Replies

i did non imm. o visa in kuala lumpur 3 months before ( put bank 100k ) and got 1 year multiply non imm. o, my first 3 months will finish in 25january but nearly 35days i was ill and cant move, still pain, contact immigration and they asked for doctor report so can extend, doctor wrote 5days extra and did strong pain killer injection, so i can move about 12hours, how i can extend my visa 3 months?it is my first time, did i have to go other country? can i make border run or can get 3 months extension in immigration?(before i had ed visa and every 3 months can extend in bkk) thanks

You need to exit and re-enter Thailand. You should explain the situation to the doctor and he could give you another medical certificate to extend your stay, but its his $decison to provide it. I've heard of up to 60 day extensions.

Hi you will have to do a border run to get another 90day permission to stay stamp, you will have to do this every 90 days,

A few days before the 'use by date' on your visa from KL, you can do another border run and get a 90 day permission to stay stamp, this will make your 1 year visa last for 15 months.

another thing if by getting the small extension because you were unwell, it will make your stay in Thailns over 90 days, you may have to do a 90 day address report to immigation.

The first extension of stay counts as an address report - unless he stays more than another 90 days it should not be required.
