What's the going rate for a cleaner?

I am having difficulty finding a good cleaner for less than 500B a day

2 times a week means I am paying 4000B/month for 8 days work

quite happy to pay double that for a full time live in maid/cleaner is I could find one...

500 baht is the Farang price ,

I had a maid who wanted this much and did a half assed job.

300 baht is good price , it is more than the going minimum wage and if she comes once or twice a week she would be happy to have you as a consistent gig.

I guess it depends on where you live. I live in Chiang Mai and pay 340 Baht a day, twice the rate the lady receives from other employment

In the vicinity of Pattaya you would be lucky to get twenty minutes with a feather duster and then be asked for taxi money. BTW we don't even have taxi's.

Do you really need them for a whoel day ? My bird place is spotless in less than an hour. Ninja into one of the hotels next to or near where you live and ask one oi the cleaners there if they will come to over to your joint a couple of times a week to clean for 2k a month.
