Please I'd like comment from expat in Issan on how they are treated at Amnat Immigration...Just a general comment on their encounter with the officers at the immigration office..

I have dealt with them 3 times, the last time I was on overstay, having not cancelled a Non B when I changed jobs and provinces. The big boss decided after one hour not to charge me, partly because Sakhon Nakhon Immigration had sold me a re-entry permit, while I was on overstay and they should not have. The boss called them and gave them shit, and then told me he would give me 7 days for 1,900 Bhat. So I would say that they were very good about it. In all three instances I have not had a problem, they are efficient. Much nicer than Korat immigration who will not let you do a 90 day report by mail.
