I will soon have to renew my passport. Is it necessary for me to transfer my marriage visa and reentry permit to the new passport?

If yes, does anyone know how long time that will take?

I guess you are on an extebnsion of stay. yes, you need to trnasfer the details to the new passport. it is a free process and doesn't take that long. Do take coipies with you of the relevant pages in both new and old passport. 20 to 30 minutes should be more than enough time, exclusive of waiting time.
