What do you all think about the upcoming IPO from Facebook? Do you figure it to be as good of an investment as Google's IPO?

10 years ago in the UK it was "Friends reunited" a social networking site that was all the rage, listed and not long afterwards lost its popularity. Everyone was looking on it, sounds familiar? The fad subsided. Facebook IMHO is of the same ilk, the figures not support the value much like the DOT.COM boom of 10+ years ago, initially there will be some upside, but a fad is fad and it will be replaced by something else we know nothing about today. I will steer well clear of this. The creator will do well, the investors will see things going up for a while then it will go like all the rest and seen for what is a fad.

Seems like there is not much interest in it. Not surprising really, most people out here are to old to be bothered with facebook and like exter says, seen it all be before.
