Thai Consumer Confidence Drops Five Points in Q4 2011

BANGKOK: -- Global consumer confidence rises one point; mixed results for fourth quarter global outlook: rosy for Asians and Americans, downright gloomy for Europeans. Thai consumer confidence drops by 5 points after flood disaster.

More than seven even out of ten Thais (73%) believes the country is in recession, but half (50%) remain hopeful.

Europe is a huge market and there is no confidence there, America, not setting the world alight, why would anyone have much confidence at the moment? Not surprising it dropped here!

Something will happen to change that, something will happen it always does and we dont see it at the moment, same as we did not see the financial crisis coming, try and stay positive things will get better, just might take a bit longer than we would like.
