A new passport with new number due.

Please advsie those I must notify and those I should.

1. Immigration? I still ahve old passport with O visa valid until August and will do 90 day run soon taking both,Is it adviseable to notify ,forewar office or just go to Mae Sai exit gate with both old and new.
   
2. I notice 5 year bike and car drivers licences have old passport number.Is it a legal requirement/advisable to go through whole rigmarole again? It is valid for 2 years more.Just concerned in event of Police or Insurane issuews,
   
3. Banks who all have numerous passport copies for my half adozen odd cards with 3 banks
   
4. Any others,hospitals airlines,embassy has been told.
   

Appreciate any comments and experience as I'd like to get ball rolling before next flood season !

You must go to your immigration office to have the details transfered, but in case of a valid visa they might do it at the border.

You will need both passports to re-enter, as you have a valid multipel entry visa. You show your old passport for the visa and the new passport for the entry stamp.
