I've been kindly advised in another thread that normally you should visit your local office to have visa/extension stamp info transferred to a new passport and appreciate this advice.

However, what I'm wondering is there anyone who has done this task at say Suan Plu, with perhaps evidence of a need to travel out quite soon.

I'm getting on a tad in years and don't relish the thought of a two day turn-around in rushing to Issan to get this done.

I would have imagined that the main office in Bangkok, with a section just dealing in stamp transfer, would cater for all clients needing this service.

As I say, not ignoring previous advice, just wondering if anyone has done! I'm out of country at present so hard to get advice from Immigration themselves.

Okay, got it Mario.

Thus as you advised on another thread.

"Your permission to stay will be transferred to the new passport, either on arrival in BKK or they will tell you to visit your immigration office"

Other than that, express to KK!
