90 Day At C Watanna-No Photocopies.

Featured Replies

I did my 90-day reporting yesterday (3 days late, but that is OK) at CW.

I can confirm now that no photocopies of visa page, arrival card or anything else are required at CW. You should, however, not forget your last 90-day notification slip. There is a new sign saying that you have to go to your local police and make a report if you have lost this previous 90-day slip (which most people have pinned into their passports).

The situation re copies may be different in other places.

The whole procedure took about 30 minutes.

There is a "new" quality of service questionnaire which you pick up on entry. It looks very official, but nobody bothered to collect it from me. I didn't see any post-box for it. Unless you like to form-fill or complain, I wouldn't worry about it.

So you got the new type of notification receipt with a bar code, did you? Looks like they're introducing this nationwide now; read a post by a member getting it in Chiang Mai the other day. If the receipt doesn't have personal or confidential information on it I'd love to have a copy for my collection of Thai passport stamps etc (temporarily located on a picasaweb album until a future upgrade of the ThaiVisa forum software hopefully re-enables upload to the ThaiVisa gallery). I shall decipher the bar code and let you know what information it contains for you to decide whether I may add it to my album.

The single biggest problem in communication is the illusion that it has taken place
