I have to apply for a tourist visa at Vientiane tomorrow. Just wondering what documentation to take.

Is it the same as visa extension in which cause i would need

Copy of passport photo page, copy of visa stamp and departure card.

2 Passport Photos

Anything else?

Also my girlfriend has a triple entry and this is her first border run, i presume she doesnt need anything?

Do we need any documentation to get the laos Visa or is that straight forward

Sorry to bump, heading in a few hours and just want to make sure no new procedures have been introduced so i bring all the correct documentation, appreciate any advice at all

just need passport, a copy of your passport ID-page and 3 passportsize ID-pictures(2for Thai Embassy, 1for Laos arrival visa). No addl documents required.

They will only check the number of previous Thai Visas in your passport.

Your GF just need 1 ID-picture for the Laos Arrival Visa.
