Medical Visa For A Fee?

I heard one law firm advertise 90 day visa for 9500B. When I called them I was told it's medical visa that I can get within one hour when I meet one of their people in an immigration office. I don't require medical treatment but it's cheaper than border runs. Does anyone know how secure and reliable this is?

1) If you are not medically documented I would say it sounds a little Illegal.

2) Going to another country to get a 60 + 30 day TV is much cheaper then 9500 baht.

Doesn't seem like a good idea... I found similar info on another forum. Apparently passport control officials may require proof of medical treatment. Thanks all!
