Featured Replies

Hi,

I need to do a visa run in the next week and need to know where to go?

Can anyone give me advice on who to use please?

Thanks in advance

Which Sub Forum?

Are you looking for a new visa or just after a border run with an existing visa. For border runs there are plenty around such as five star based out of The Sportsman on Soi 13 or First Class based out of The Queen Vic on Soi 6 - both have websites with details and there are dozens of smaller/cheaper outfits around as well.

As for a new visa, Savanakhet in Lao seems to be flavour of the month at the moment - plenty of info in the Visa sub forum or check out Savan Vegas website which has plenty of info even if you don't choose to use their services.

Which Sub Forum?

The Thaivisa - Pattaya Sub Forum, where you are posting in !

Or use this term in Google search.

wow! there is a forum for Submarine enthusiasts?

I would suggest, to use a so called "Vip Visa Service".

Slightly more expensive, but only six peoples in the Minibus.

And a better chance to avoid one of these reckless, suicidal acting <deleted> driver.

I have used Key Visa twice. Once just a routine 7 day extension. Once for a minvan run over to Cambodia. Seamless and easy. Average worker there did not have the best english, but office boss did. No problems

If you'd like a VIP service and no reckless driver, go for 5-Star visarun in The Sportsman Bar Soi 13 off Pattaya Beach Road.

For a whopping THB 2300-THB 2500 (many-runners get a discount), you'll start from 6 a.m. with a breakfast up to your choice (included), van drives off around 6.45 a.m. with 2 stops on the way to Ban Laem.

After the visa forth-and-back has finished you'll head back and start with a light lunch (included) in the mini-van.

Also on the way back 2 stops for the smokers.

If you fill in the survey you will receive a coupon for a free drink (included) in the Sportsman bar.

Applying can be done online or in person in the Sportsman Bar.

Besides your passport, you'll need to bring 2 pass photo's.

Very efficient, very safe and very convenient.

The bus offers recent movies (on usb-stick, so no interruptions) and wifi......yes....wifi.
