February 17, 201214 yr Just got my Non-Immigrant "O" Visa based on marriage. Want to thank the TV guys that steered me in that direction and filled me in on much needed info. Below is the complete list of stuff I had to have to make my application complete, at the Los Angeles Consulate. Each consulate's requirements vary, so always thoroughly check what you need for the specific consulate you will be applying at. Thai Non-Immigrant “O” Visa Application, Based on Marriage Packet for Thai Consulate in Los Angeles 611 N. Larchmont Blvd 2nd Floor LA, CA 90004 323-962-9574 Passport Copy of your picture page of the passport Visa application Two recent passport photos with your name printed on the back of each Copy of recent bank statement (need at least $500 USD in it) Copy of flight ticket Copy of Marriage Certificate Copy of Wife’s Thai passport (photo page) Copy of Wife’s Thai ID Letter from wife confirming you are still married $200 USD in cashier’s check or money order SASE if mailing (USPS Express Mail recommended for tracking) Now, the officer just glanced at the bank statement and copy of the flight ticket and gave both of them back to me. He did it so fast I don't see how he could have seen the amounts or the dates, but they are stated as requirements on the consulate's webpage.
February 18, 201214 yr Interesting about the flight ticket. I go thru Portland Or. Never asked for ticket. They only state that I have to be in Thailand within 90 days.
February 18, 201214 yr Normally they will not require a flight ticket for home country nationals but have on list.
