Best it to get her a Thai passport. First report her birth to the Thai embassy in London and at the same time apply for a Thai passport. The embassy website has all the details. Both countries allow dual citizenship.

If there is not enough time, you either get her a visa or just let her come on a visa exempt entry. Since she is under 14 there is no fine for overstay. Technically she can also get an extension of stay based on presenting proof that she is a Thai.

The issue is she would not get six weeks stay if that is the planned visit and airline would be within it rights to refuse boarding without a visa for a stay or more than 30 days. Get Thai passport or a visa. She can overstay the visa without anything more than a passport mark but she must meet entry requirements if using a foreign passport.

I'm in the same situation, but in Perth Australia and was told by the Thai embassy in Canberra that she( my daughter) will be covered under the parent with the appropiate lenght of stay tourist visa,( ie, 60 day,90 day) as she will have an Australian passport but as we all know what troubles can arise at swampy airport and others we are in the process of getting her a Thai passport aswell to be sure .
