Rooo Posted February 20, 2012 Share Posted February 20, 2012 Samui Learning Centre of Special Needs - Fundraiser. 25 February 2012 The Samui Learning Centre of Special Needs is a school in Bangrak that helps to provide a suitable environment for learning, in which to develop the physical, mental and social abilities of each child. On Saturday 25 February, 6pm to 9pm, they are holding a fundraising event at Chaweng Lake View which will include entertainment, arts and a buffet dinner. Tickets can be purchased in advance for THB 500 to include the buffet, or you can go along during the evening to see for yourself what they are all about. If sufficent funds are raised, they will be able to create a Foundation, which will put their future developments on a much firmer footing. Hopefully this will also include being able to provide transportation for many children on the island who simply cannot physically attend, but who would benefit greatly from the school.
