tangcoral
I noticed most of the Alphards and Hyundai H1 have tv sattelites fixed to the roof of the vehicle. Are they receiving free off the air tv reception or actual satellite signals? Is it free like the Red channel tv or something they pay on a monthy basis. Just curious as what they are watching. katabeachbum
its a TV areal/antenna for mobile tv sets. same as used in boats/ yachts. when tv is not stationary, it needs 2 areals so one can be in tune at the time, the other one searching for better signal or the cheap ones is just a simple areal, in a nice cover
2unique
Think he means the selfsat(?) for True on the move. I heard (unconfirmed) it was 10k (also heard 20k) baht and you received the TrueVisions lowest package for free http://www.selfsat.asia/index.php?lang=eng
tangcoral
Yes exactly the selfsat. Are there any other tv providers that do this or just truevision using selfsat? So what you heard is that you buy the dish and receive lowest package without monthly dues? That sounds like a deal.
2unique
This was told by bloke in pub who got it from calling a stereo shop. His Thai isn't that good so please call first. There's a number at the bottom of the Thai distributor page Posted with Thaivisa App http://apps.thaivisa.com
MoonRiverOasis
These rooftop satellite receivers are only good for receiving from Thaicom 5, so that means free to air (from satellite) and TrueVision only.
