Hi all,

So i just been through the process of applying for extension to stay based on thai wife, tomorrow (27th) off to CW but not sure what to bring besides passport and wife? They still need TM7 with a passport photo?

That and much more if for more than the 60 day extension. You will need marriage certificate and likely the KR2 ledger copy from marriage and copies of date/visa/entry pages in passport as well as arrival card. She will need her ID card/copy and home register/copy. TM7 with 4x6cm photo taken within last six months and 1,900 baht fee. Some proof of address/rent if not same location as wife home register. Photos together in home and outside with number visable and another sitting on bed together and clothing hung together in closet is a normal request (perhaps some of wedding if you had). Sketch map to home may be asked. And proof of meeting financial requirements which is 400k in bank account two months or 40k income. If using bank account letter from bank as well as account passbook and transcation done that day (there are banks on ground floor and copy shop if you need anything else).

Hm thought this time would be different as we showed all those documents 1 month ago, the officer just told us to be there in person this time. Guess im off to the bank now then to get a new bank letter.

Thanks Lop

Sorry did not see your header - best to always repeat in text as a few others are as blind as me. You will just need the passport for return/stamp time.

I read kollart s post, from the title, that he had already applied for the one year extension and had received a "30 day under consideration" stamp and that "contact this office again in person date" was 27 Feb. IF this is the case then he only needs to turn up with passport, wife not necessary.

If I misunderstood op s post then refer to lopburi3 s post.

Go ahead and renew your 90 day notice while you are at it unless you did it very recently. Will save you another trip there or to the post office later. I never take my wife to get the final stamp but have been doing it for years now so don’t expect problems.

The problem is many of us view forum using next unread to bring post up and when doing that the headers are not visable - having them is important for finding information later but can be missed when reading (or taken off topic) so often the post is what needs to be answered rather than the topic title. Again sorry for the mistake.

Ahhh come on lopburi3 admit it.....it was the Sang Som wasn't it? haha don't worry we won't tell anyone.

With all the help you give here I'm sure we can all forgive you. Just funny that you typed ALL of that then realized. clap2.gif
