Roynet And Win Xp

Featured Replies

I foolishly purchased a Roynet Speedy Kit as a backup for TOTonline, which is too often down in Bangkok . Now I find that, contrary to what is supposed to happen, Roynet works only on my Win 98 but not on my Win XP. I connect to Roynet on XP but cannot surf at all.

My computer is dual boot with a 56K soft modem. (TOTonline works on both of my OS's, when TOTonline is working at all.)

The guy who sold me this knew I had XP but he doesn't care to rectify the situation. I understand that Roynet is or about to go belly-up. There web-site is useless for support and they no longer have a working service phone.

Anyone know if there is some special DNS configuration, or whatever, for using Roynet on XP?

I live in Udon Thani.

Roynet is crap, shame on them! Just trash the package and go for one of the bigger ISP's instead.
