Htc Repair

Recommended Posts

The LCD touchscreen on my phone got damaged and after some stupid quotes to have it fixed I found some decent people at Tukcom in Pattaya who ordered a new one from Bangkok which took 1 day and replaced it in under an hour. Very pleased with the service and price. Shop name is Mobile Centre, pm if you need a phone number.

I went to the HTC service center in BKK for screen replacement of my out of warranty HTC smart phone. The cost they quoted me was over 60% of the original cost of the phone. Obviously, they had no interest in repairing, preferring to sell a new one instead. I walked out of the shop, tossed the phone into an ashcan, bought a cheap Nokia and have lived happily ever after. That was my second HTC phone, similar problems with both. Before that Motorola, ditto. They just were not built to last, as is true with a lot of things these days. At least with a cheap 1,000 baht Nokia, replacement does not cause one to cringe.
