March 2, 201214 yr I did a little research on helmets and came across a couple of sites that gave comparisons between UK, US and Euro sizes in inches and cm and I would like to pin them to the Bikes in Thailand thread but I don't know how. I copied and pasted into Word then rewrote it into XL to make it tidy and easier to read. Motorcycle helmet and clothing size chart.doc Motorcycle helmet and clothing size guide.xls
March 2, 201214 yr I tried helmets even back home that were XXL and they were still all different, i think a lot comes down to just trying them on to see which fits, but your docs are great thanks. I ended up with a Shark d tone Hologram in XXL and its the best helmet I have owned.

I ended up with a Shark d tone Hologram in XXL and its the best helmet I have owned. My pleasure. I think there isn't always a common standard between helmet manufacturers plus there is also a difference in head shapes as well. Those sites came from the West and I cannot find a site for Asian built helmets. I have an Index fullface in size L which is just a little tight and a real Ozzy helmet which is a 3/4 face in XL which is a comfortable fit. I am looking at a replacement full face that I can lift the front bar to put my glasses on and use as an open face sometimes. Index do a Hybrid 3 and I think LS2 does as well. There is a brilliant shop up in Chiang Mai called the Apparel which is stack out with helmets. This is their website. http://www.helmet2home.com/?lang=en
