Convicted Thief arrested following break-in at house in Jomtien

PATTAYA:--A man, who had been released from Prison just a few hours earlier, was arrested following a break-in at a house in Jomtien in the early hours of Tuesday.

Khun Fon aged 35 and her foreign boyfriend returned to their house in Soi 9 off the Thappraya Road after spending the night at a friend’s house and saw two men inside the house. One of them was able to escape but thanks to some assistance from neighbors, the other suspect, Khun Suriyan aged 32 was detained until Police arrived to formally arrest him.

It was determined he had been released from the Pattaya Remand Prison earlier on Monday and had been charged with theft many times over the years. He claimed that he wanted to raise money to cover the rent of an apartment and decided to break-in to Khun Fon’s house in search of valuable items.

But Judge.....I just wanted to raise money to cover the rent.

Looks like he will have free room and board now, shared room that is.

Like a lot of repeat offenders this guy is seriously lacking in the 'smarts' department!
