Uk 6 Month Multiple Entry Visit Visa

My Girlfriend has just been given a 6 month multiple entry visit visa for UK.

In the application we stated she would visit for a 15 day holiday in March/April.

She will do that and then we plan for her to visit a number of times each for a period of between 1 and 2 weeks before the visa runs out.

We didn't state that we would do this, is this a potential problem when we apply for a visa again? (I don't expect her total elapsed visit time to be more than 10 weeks)

How soon after expiry will we be able to apply again?

Is there anything else we should consider when trying to develop a track record for her visiting and then returning.

Finally someone told her that we should book open tickets and this helped with subsequent applications. I just don't understand this point? and fixed date tickets are so much cheaper.
