PATTAYA:--Banglamung Police announced the arrest of a suspected drug courier on Friday. Police Lieutenant General Panya, the Region 2 Police Commissioner led a press conference in front of Banglamung Police Station to announce the arrest of Khun Tongchai aged 33 and the seizure of 2,000 Yabba Tablets.

Intelligence indicated that Khun Tongchai was set to make a delivery of drugs in front of the Mini Siam Tourist attraction in North Pattaya. Police were waiting for him and he soon arrived in a Bronze BMW car. The drugs were concealed in the front console and Khun Tongchai later confessed to working for an inmate at Chonburi Central Prison, Khun Gamon aged 32, who is now the subject of a drug investigation. Khun Tongchai, who would receive 5,000 Baht every time he made a successful delivery,
