But the taxi drivers at the airport want 1000 Baht upwards to go in the opposite direction, and you know what it's like after a long flight, I can't be bothered haggling with them. Pattaya has only a token fleet of metered taxis (that refuse to use their meters) and I have never seen one of those at the airport.
