Australian and Iranian tourists report pickpocketing transsexuals in South Pattaya

PATTAYA:--Two Thai and one Burmese Transsexuals were arrested by Pattaya Police in the early hours of Monday following a spate of pickpocketing involving Australian and Iranian tourists.

Two incidents were reported to Police within the space of a few minutes, one occurring close to the VC Hotel in South Pattaya and the other on Walking Street. Mr. Joshua Sparks aged 26 from Australia reported being pickpocketed in front of the VC Hotel and Police were quick to arrest the two suspected thieves, Khun Jaesadar aged 24 and Khun Mongkol of the same age, who confessed to taking Mr. Sparks’ wallet which contained 2,060 Baht in cash.

A Burmese Transsexual, Mr. Rariy Yed aged 31 was suspected of picking the pockets of two Iranian Tourists on Walking Street. Police were initially unable to locate the suspect
