Definitely! Sorry to say but usually with LCD tv's, if the panel goes bad you throw them away.

Yep. 2011 / no one fixes anything anymore. Time to throw away and buy new. All kidding aside, contact the manufacturer's repair facility in BKK. Maybe you'll bet lucky.

My Samsung LED TV started to have a half way line across. What could be wring?

Does the OP seriously expect a diagnosis online, based on the info above? No age, warranty status, model number, reasonable description of the line (is it white? black? another color? etc.) Not even a simple photo of the problem to include in the post. Based on what's posted, do the obvious thing and contact Samsung service.

Quite common with Samsung TV's, most have 640 lines you must only have 639 contact the company and ask for an additional line! - I agree with Sam Drucker what a silly question!
