April 20, 201214 yr Hi all Is there anywhere in Pattaya that offers official translation services from English to Thai? If so, please advise location or other information to help me locate where. Thanks!
April 20, 201214 yr How official does it need to be? British consulate will do it I think if it needs to be officially official.

April 20, 201214 yr Author Okay, how about any office in Pattaya that offers translation services? As I am unfamiliar with the area, help most appreciated! I was thinking of the British consulate but they don't offer translation services do they? MFA in Bangkok not necessary but the company that does the translation must be registered as offering translation services. Thanks

I had to have my marriage certificate translated and stamped by the MoFA in Bangkok for work permits and dependants visas but if it's not for a government agency maybe not required. Another mate has his girlfriend do the translation and then takes it to a lawyer to stamp, he used to take it to the former British Consul but since they now charge it's too expensive. April 20, 201214 yr http://www.ctapattaya.de/home/ I have use these people, there are near Big C extra on Pattaya Klang, I have used them for translating Thai birth certificates etc for the British Embassy. They are Certified and approved for such reasons.
April 20, 201214 yr . Depending on how "official" it needs to be, you might consider Google Translation. Instant and free and I've had good results with Thais understanding the translation. You can test it by translating from Thai to English and see if you think it's accurate enough. http://translate.goo...n&tab=wT#en|th| .
