Where To Find An Ice Lolly Maker?

Featured Replies

Mrs. Expatmakmak and I spent this afternoon searching for a plastic tray to make ice lollies. It was bloody horn mak mak! I know Chiang Mai very well, probably better than my phariya! We tried all the usual places and even some less usual ones too. But to no avail!

Does anyone else know where to find a plactic tray to make nam keng lollies?

Last I saw them was at one of these "everything for 20/25 Baht" stands with loads of plastic rubbish from China with Japanese print to make it look more 'expensive'

Have seen them in Lotus Hang Dong from time to time but also there were many times when I looked for them and they didn't have them.

Premium ones at the Tupperware booth, 4th floor Airport Plaza near Fuji, saw them a few days ago. Cheaper ones should be around but maybe scarce with this heat, Chiang Mai Plastics?

Try Yok on the inside of the Superhighway near Kaew Nawarat--it's a baking/cooking supply store. Not sure if they have that exactly but probably the best bet for something like that. It's pretty easy to see, corner lot with a big sign.

Also interested in getting one of those. I tried Chiang Mai plastics, Lotus (Hang Dong) and Yok (Kumtieng) but no luck so far.

Might want to try Powerbuy, the top (5th?) floor of Robinson's at Airport Central. They have a decent selection of kitchen ware.
