PATTAYA:--A large hole which appeared in the road close to the Chaimongkol Temple in South Pattaya, an area of high vehicle and foot traffic has been left to increase in size for over a week by the Pattaya authorities.

Complaints have been sent to City Hall regarding the hole, located at the traffic lights at the end of the South Pattaya Road where it intersects with Pattaya Second Road. Although barriers have been placed over the hole it is increasing in size and depth according to local residents and business operators who want something done about it before it leads to an accident.

Located only meters away from a Traffic Police Box which is manned by officers who are responsible for traffic safety and a City Hall security checkpoint manned by City Hall officers locals are amazed that nothing has been done so far
