skydancer
You are right, the laugh is on us. Hubby screwed up royal in the tipping department and the TAT (Thai Association of Tourism?) overcharged us on travel arrangments. Bang Saphan is a small town and the story of our extreme over tipping seems to have circulated. Hands seem to pop out all along our way and we have been tipping, but much, much smaller amounts. The truth is that we are moving to Thailand because I needed to stop working due to my health and we were unable to live in the states without two incomes. Husband's monthly SS payment is not very large so we will learn quickly how to save money. Our income is now 1/3 of what it was. Yes, we could use a guide to help us. Anyone out there willing to meet with us and give us some tips? We will be coming back to Bangkok the first part of Feb to plan our next place to visit. Skydancer We can settle this amicably if there is a house either side of the new arrivals
