New Ipad And A Bad Experience With Istudio

Featured Replies

This is with one of their shop in Chonburi area. They are in what they call Tuk-Com next to the Lotus supermarket.

What happened is that I called them to make sure that they have the model I want in stock. When they said yes and I grap my key and drive to thier shop.

At the shop they told me that I had to buy at least an accessories or an insurance plan from them otherwise they would not sell the iPad to me.

I then asked to see the manager. The manager came out just to said that there is no more stock left. I called them again on my way back home and they, again comfirmed they still had some in stock. The manager obviously was lying to me back in the shop.

The insurance plan what something they setup on their own and do not have anything to do with apple. Are they allowed by Apple to have such plan?

I am really upset because they wasted my time and a trip to the shop which is quite a long way.

Nice scam!

Dont buy from them, complain to Apple via Apple website, and order it online from http://store.apple.com/th

I ordered mine Friday morning and got it today, monday, before noon.

PS if they are an official apple authorized dealer then they're not allowed to do that. But TIT - until we get an official Apple store we will be in a service wasteland.

I brought mine from iStudio too. But it is a branch in Central Airport Chiangmai.

The sale person asked me several time want to purchase any accessories. I insisted no need.

They let me buy without anymore hassle.
