Unlicensed East Pattaya Slaughterhouse shut down by Police

PATTAYA:--An unlicensed slaughterhouse has been shut-down by Banglamung Police.

Police and Public Health Officials conducted a raid of the illegal business located inside Soi 12 off the Kow Tha Low Road in East Pattaya. Police detained Khun Galim aged 28, the reported owner of the business and conducted an inspection of the area where a freshly slaughtered ox was laid out and the meat was about to be stripped from the carcass.

The wife of the owner complained to the Police that the operation was unnecessary and just down the road from them is an area where drugs are bought and sold on a regular basis.
