chiangrai Posted May 27, 2012 Author Share Posted May 27, 2012 Please forgive my ignorance, Who are YSS and what is a pre-load. I'm 60kg with a bad back that feels the bumbs. The bike has to go to the main dealers anyway, to fix the feul injection. Does it sound like i should ask them to soften the pre-load before I invest in new shocks. I presume the front shocks cannot be softened. There aren't two D-Tracker 125's. There is a D-tracker 125: And a KLX 125: Pre-load is the amount of compression of the the spring(s) on your rear shock and the springs in your front forks. On most motorcycles you can adjust the pre-load on the rear shock(s). On some motorcycles you can also adjust the pre-load on the front forks. There is one D-Tracker 125 and one KLX125 http://www.kawasaki..../motorcycle.asp Take it to the Kawasaki dealer in Chiang Rai and tell them you want it adjusting, the girl there speaks pretty good English. There is ONE model of the D-Tracker 125. It sells for 86,500 Baht http://www.kawasaki....dtracker125.asp There is ONE model of the KLX 125.
