The text is from an email I received today for fares to Europe with Eva Air.

I use this agent for bookings, they provide a good service.

This email is to share with you Eva Air's latest release on 'SHOCKING FARES'

for travel to/from AMSTERDAM, LONDON & VIENNA.

The sales period is short. From now till 08 June 2012 only which

you must have the tickets issued. Eligible for travel from Bangkok

during 25June - 31July 2012 only. The maximum stay is one month.

Seats are limited. Please book early to avoid disappointment.

The roundtrip BKK-LHR-BKK air fares are:

1. By 'H' economy class Baht 19,200 plus Baht 14,650 taxes per person (no mileage accrual and no upgrade)

2. By 'U' economy class Baht 21,200 plus Baht 14,650 taxes per person (no mileage accrual and no upgrade)

3. By 'V' Elite class Baht 36,800 plus Baht 18,690 taxes per person. (Eligible for mileage and upgrade)

4. By 'R' Elite class Baht 34,800 plus Baht 18,690 taxes per person (no mileage accrual and no upgrade)

The roundtrip BKK-AMS-BKK air fares are:

1. By 'H' economy class Baht 19,200 plus Baht 10,105 taxes per person (no mileage accrual and no upgrade)

2. By 'U' economy class Baht 21,200 plus Baht 10,105 taxes per person (no mileage accrual and no upgrade)

3. By 'V' Elite class Baht 36,800 plus Baht 10,105 taxes per person. (Eligible for mileage and upgrade)

4. By 'R' Elite class Baht 34,800 plus Baht 10,105 taxes per person (no mileage accrual and no upgrade)

The roundtrip BKK-VIE-BKK air fares are:

1. By 'H' economy class Baht 19,200 plus Baht 11,335 taxes per person (no mileage accrual and no upgrade)

2. By 'U' economy class Baht 21,200 plus Baht 11,335 taxes per person (no mileage accrual and no upgrade)

Note: all taxes (as of 28 May 2012) are subject to change without prior notice.

CONDITIONS (for AMS, LHR and VIE):

All tickets must be issued by 10 June 2012.

Travel from BKK must be during 25June - 31July 2012 only.

The maximum stay is one month.

Free flight/date changes (subject to ticket validity).

Extension of ticket validity is definitely not permitted.

The cancellation/refund fee for totally unused air ticket is Baht 4.000.

Partially used air ticket is not refundable.

All taxes are subject to change.

Air fares are based on 'cash basis'.

BR reserves rights to alter/withdraw the air fares at its discretion without prior notice.

I booked in April, travel BKK/LHR/BKK on 3 June for THB35,835/person.

Mine was a three month fare as I wanted to be away six weeks.

I bought for 29,400 directly from Eva Air, not so "shocking fares" I would say...
