Lax To Bkk

Featured Replies

Meant to say total flying time 21-30 hours. Still, that's way too much. China has them beat by at least 4 hours.

I fly many times with various carriers to Bangkok (price is a key for me). Going from LAX to BKK, I'd have to recommend any flight thats no more than 19-22ish hours of total trip time. There's always cheap flights with China Eastern and China Southern with stops in Shanghai or Beijing. These layovers are commonly no more than 2-3 hours. Lately ive been going this route, However If you can get a Korean Air flight with a stop in Seoul, Id strongly recommend it. Best Airport, very good airline/service

I can only speak for exit row seats on Cathay Pacific....And they let me plop my carryon in front of me, even though it was blocking the exit door (rest assured, I would have moved it in case of an emergency landing, if I wasn't sleeping).

All emergency "landings" aren't that forgiving. What if you were unconscious or had two broken arms from the impact?

Unconscionable for airline staff to allow you to do that. post-4641-1156693976.gif

the problem with LAX is that there are not enough flights

i think it has to do with thai people prefering to fly on thai more than farang.

if you like Korean; give Asiana a try. It is also Star Alliance. I'm coming on a free 65,000 mile frequent flyer ticket on Thai--cost me 91 USD.

EVA Air, Premium Economy Class. It's not bad service except for the 3 - 4 hour layover in Taiwan.
