Can anyone suggest a nice, cheap ($20 - 50 US per night), decent hotel with close proximity to bars / clubs / nightlife for late 20-somethings to early 30-somethings?

I've never stayed there but the food at the adjoined restaurant is pretty good.

As you are heading out of town, if you exit the sky train at Thong Lor and continue that direction, almost immediately on your right is a small driveway leading to an apartment building. It has a sign saying rooms for 700B/night. Looks like a nice building.

quite hard to find but the last time i checked a friend in i waited at the woodstock bar and the staff canme to get us...
