Buchholz
Red Shirt Leader/PTP MP Natthawut said that Dokjik going back to prison was the fate of a warrior. The court in its ruling said the evidence indicated that Dokjik's actions, his voice, his facial expressions, and physical gestures proved his intent to incite violence and hate at the time and thus were unconvinced of his claims that no ill will intended. She is afraid to condemn the action of Jeng, afraid of stepping on the Red Shirt´s.She needs their support. One wrong step and they can turn against her and PTP. Just as the Yellows turned on Abhisit when he wasn't nationalist enough to their liking. When action groups lose their original reason for existence, they typically go nationalist and/or more extreme in their views, to try and re-grab a bigger public share after loosing core supporters of the original goals, that were attained. Happened to the yellows and also the reds.

Are you accusing judges of taking bribes to revoke bail in what seems a fairly clear case of breach, or of taking bribes not to revoke bail of the other indicted criminals, or a general rant at the Thai court system without specifics, or none of the above? I don't know cases, but it is an open secret that many judges are taking bribes. Specially at the lower ranking courts. Another thing is intimidation. Who want to be killed for revoking or not revoking bail. And don't forget the pastry box a couple of years ago....They wouldn't have tried it if it would be clear that judges can't be bribed. Buchholz
Will she sack him when he fails to show up for work next week? He is Deputy Secretary-General to the Interior Minister. IMHO paying a public servant while he is incarcerated for crimes committed before his appointment would be illegal - but I have no problems if they wish to share a cell. Actually, appointing someone indicted for serious crimes is borderline, but when that appointment is payback for committing them from a beneficiary to those criminal acts, there is little doubt of corruption due to the conflict of interest.
