June 10, 201214 yr A friend bought some mass produced tile in Bangkok that look similar to these hand made Mexican style tiles - at a reasonable price. Around 175 baht a meter. I am trying to find something like this in the Chiang Mai area. Have been to Global House, Home Pro, and the shop on Chang Peuak. No luck. There are shops selling "din pao" fired clay tile, but they look too uniform and are over my budget anyway (usually around 350 baht a meter). Any suggestions for shops with a large selection of attractive tile? TIA.
June 15, 201214 yr Home Sukapan is the shop in Chang Peuk but their main branch on the ring road close to Payap University has the best selection. Maybe "B" grade of the ones you've already seen? Edited June 15, 201214 yr by Greenside
June 21, 201214 yr On doi saket road heading out of Chang Mai between 1st and 2 nd ring rd on your left heading out of town. Just a little past the 1st ring road u may find what your looking for. Just past the 7-11 at the market go through the light and start looking driving slow not far from light if I remember right.
