I was suppose to do my 90 day report in to immagrations on the 5th of December and I forgot. What normaly happens in this situation? Will they just give me a fine, make me go out of the country or just slap my hand?

If you do not report in time there is 5,000 baht fine plus 200 baht/day fine if you are being catched.

If you report, but being late , the fine is 2,000 baht.

I don't know what the rules say but there does seem to be a way around this.

A couple of years ago, when I switched from a B to an O visa, I forgot to report and actually missed two reporting dates. I went to Immigration to get a Reentry Permit and they said nothing. When I came back, I did go make my report after 90 days. Again, they said nothing.

I guess that means that if you leave the country, to restart the 90 count, you will be OK. Only if you go to the section for address reporting will they assess the fine.

Again, this is my experience and I give no guarantee that it will work for someone else.

Two years ago things were run differently. Address reporting in a main floor activity now. In any case the 2,000 baht fine is going to work out cheaper for most people than a re entry permit and a border run.

As a matter of interest where do I stand on extending a 90 day "O" for two weeks without actual reporting or does filling in the extension paperwork which includes your current address count as reporting?

The first extension of stay (TM.7) now counts as your first 90 day report so you will be safe.

I though I read somewhere they were going to offer Internet reporting. Yes I know it sounds stupd but then so is having to go back every 3 months just to confirm that the address hasn't changed.
