LivinLOS
Have to get this done for renewing my 5 years and only have a few days. Anyone with suggestions for the simplest, easiest, no waiting around for hours in a government hospital to get this done ?? Happy to pay more to walk in, immediately see someone, and walk out with it. Private clinic or the like ??
Pikey
Got mine for my work permit last week in CM Ram. Tested at 10am and results at 2pm but that included a blood test so I imagine just the regular "check if you are alive" routine would be a lot quicker. Also, the hospital by CM gate used to be a real quicky. Approx 100b in both cases. Cheers, Pikey.
techno
Walk into any clinic and the doctor will do a qiuck test for about 100baht. I used Klaimor Hosp on the Hangdong Road before. Walk in and out in about 30 minutes then only a short ride up the road to the Dept of Transportation
flying
Have to agree with techno...... Went into Rajavej Hospital ( Next to Holiday Inn ) Last week for same paper. Went to the desk & told them what I wanted. Was asked to take a seat. Saw about 25 folks waiting & thought uh-oh this may take awhile. But no 3 minutes later they called my name....took BP/weight & temp Went in to see a doctor who asked a few questions listened to my heart & signed a paper. Went to pay at cashier it was 100 baht & was given the signed form. Asked for a copy since I was applying for both car & motorcycle license. No charge for copy All done probably 15-20 minutes tops. uptheos
I used Klaimor Hosp on the Hangdong Road before. Walk in and out in about 30 minutes then only a short ride up the road to the Dept of Transportation Get your COR from immigration (unless you have it or one from consulate). Then head up Hang dong Rd and stop at Klaimore as stated above (100 Baht) and then straight on to the Dept of Transportation
searcher22
Got my medical certif at a small private clinic on Hang Dong Rd, near the Lotus megastore, on my way to the Dept of Transportation (but on the opposite lane). 70 baht. In and out in 10 minutes. Never saw a doctor. The person at the front desk took my BP and weight, the medical certif was signed by some doctor. MrBrad
There's a small clinic* directly across from the south gate of Ratchabaht University just off Chang Peuak Road on the north side of town. For 20 baht you will get a certificate that meets criteria for the licensing bureau. 3 minutes and you're in and out. Worked for me. *Located here: http://www.wikimapia...05&z=19&l=0&m=b BTW: the doctor has the appropriate form at his clinic.
