eyecatcher
so what have you been doing here for the last year, why are you here because you have no real qualifications. Its nigh on impossible even if you are qualified. I suggest you become a ladyboy; at your age you might be able to "pull it off"

anto
If your goodlooking you could make good money in Japan as a male , club escort for mainly middle aged women .Think you could get it up ?
Paagai
If your goodlooking you could make good money in Japan as a male , club escort for mainly middle aged women .Think you could get it up ? The OP is looking for work in Chiang Mai, not Japan! However, if he's got a good body the same principle would apply here too Though the Job Description would likely be broader, especially for a farang guy. uptheos
If you've only got a high school diploma, I suggest you teach English. Just take a 4 week TEFL course and away you go.
brit1984
It depends if you just want a low-risk route to a small but steady income or you want to take some more-risk but give yourself a chance of making good money in the future. If you just want to get by, you could easily find a job teaching English. You might not even need the TEFL if you ask around in the villages, although obviously you should (for the sake of the kids) try to become a good teacher (including gaining qualifications). If, on the other hand, you want to at least try to get ahead, you will need to do some networking. Try to meet with as many entrepreneurs as possible and show them how you can add value to their business (either by helping out or offering advice) then (maybe) one of them will hire you and give you some equity. I just wanna find a job to keep myself occupied Given you don't need the money some options would be to take a Thai language immersion course or volunteer for charity organizations. Also training muay thai is an idea. I know maybe that is not what you want to hear since you posted about a job but I am suggesting an alternative. Don't listen to the disrespectful comments, there are a lot of fools on this website.
Beetlejuice
Cannot answer the OPs question. Is the OP a male or female? What has the OP been doing in Thailand for the last year? What qualifications or skills does he or she have? We need to know a lot more before anyone can give the best advice.

samsara
Internet Marketing I know several 20 something year olds making a fortune with IM DK SEO or affiliates? if the latter, "making" is probably not the term I'd use. Perhaps "scamming" would fit.
Rancid
Any reason you aren't back in the US helping your dad's company through economically trying times? As another poster suggested what about trying to expand his business over here, that way you will have a personal and real stake in it assuming you finally take over. Also the light hearted comments were not disrepectful to your majestic dignity, just having a bit of a dig and laugh, toughen up punk.
