Red-White-And-Blue Mementoes In Chiang Mai For The "Fourth" ?

Sawasdee Khrup, TV CM friends,

I, a half-blind flea, perched precariously on a half-starved tick, living in the ear of a three-legged abandoned soi dog, salute Thee !

It just dawned on me that tomorrow is that special day for Americans (yes, this human body was "made in the u.s.a." ... as well as incubated, and born, there).

I would like to find a small gift, ideally something edible, like a cupcake with white-icing, and red, white, blue "sprinkles" on it, to give to the people in my moo baan I interact with regularly (laundry, local tuk-tuk driver, etc.), and of course to the very dear-to-me mother-daughter Mistresses of the Divine Exudate of the Soy Bean, sold nightly on Thanonn Charoen Muang,.that sustaineth this meat-package that has passed through too many moons, and probably should have been recycled by now.

Maybe I'll try Kasem. Might have to locate my own sprinkles.

Any thoughts ? Yes, probably an impossible quest.

thanks, ~o:37;

I resent that you claim you have possibly passed through to many moons. There are many moons for this humble servant of the universe to pass through. If you will use thy humans investigative ability you will find that you are what I would call a youngster.

In your search to honor your Mother Nation you might possibly find a friendly tuk tuk driver to transport your so young body to the establishment where Dao Zimmerman reigns supreme in a materialistic building known as Butter is Better and pour out your woe's to her. She is a benevolent being and would seize on the opportunity to be of service to thee.

The kitchen / bakery supply stores have sprinkles and food dyes in all colors of the rainbow. For example Baker's Mart on the Old Lamphun Road, South of the Nong Hoi intersection before 89 Plaza, on the left.

maybe B&B is making Apple Pie w/their new flaky crust (nothin' more Americana than dat!) as Mr. Dao hails from the good ole US of A
