As my birthday is on the 13th, and sometimes falls on a Friday (next in 2009), I am inclined to believe this is actually very lucky ! She arrives late tomorrow, but left the US on Friday the 13th.... I hope that I can arrange most of my flights for Friday the 13th's.... A Thai friend mentioned to me today that they don't worry about the Friday so much, but that they consider the number 13 unlucky/scary because when rotated clockwise 90 degrees it makes ผี (pii...the Thai word for ghost). So although I am not at all superstitious I still find myself being reminded of the sayings. I am very superstitious, but I had a very good night at poker last night! How can one day be unlucky for every single person in the world - impossible.
