Obtaining Fingerprint Set In Thailand for Aus police check

Featured Replies

My fiance needs a set of fingerprint to it send to the Australia Federal Police National Police Check. He is in Thailand. My question is where can he get it? And he also needs to pay the fee but it must be in AUD$, he can't send personal check or cash, so how do we pay for the fee? In the US we have like money order thing that we can buy. I wonder if the bank has something like that there. Thanks in advance.

A few years ago I needed a set of fingerprints for an FBI "no bad info" report. Went down to my local police station, they had the fingerprint forms with spaces for the prints, same form as in the U.S., just in Thai. Did it there for free, mailed it in, and a couple months later got the FBI clearance.

If you're in Oz now, you might pick up a few copies of the print form used there and mail it to your fiance here to use. Hmmm, re-reading your post, looks like you're in the U.S. now, right, so that won't work.

Perhaps not necessary, just use the form from the Thai police.

Regarding the fee to be snail mailed to Oz, suggest checking a large bank in Bangkok to see if they'll issue a money order in AUD$$.

You can pay using Mastercard, Visa or Amex. You can use your own card if your partner is not in possession of a CC.

Insert the amount in Australian $ only.
